Book: Music, play, and development
It is divided into two parts: the first explains how learning is organized into four areas of development and how play helps stimulate each of them. The second one defines kinesthesia and shows how Musical Lights enhances it.
Additionally, it provides teachers with tools to use this game as a means of identifying potential signs of neurodivergence.
How to Play
- Insert a slide into the projector tube, turn off the lights, and illuminate the tube’s opening.
- Project the note.
- The note can represent an open string, a scale, an arpeggio, etc., depending on the chosen difficulty level.
- The student plays in the dark, producing a homogeneous sound.
